Soundbreaker Media LLC, doing business as Make Worship Songs ("Make Worship Songs," "we," "us," or "our"), respects your privacy. We are a Christian music production company based in Michigan, United States.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies when you visit makeworshipsongs.com, fill out a form, request a free song critique, buy our services, upload files, or contact us by email or text message (together, our "Services").

This Policy works together with our Terms of Service. By using our Services, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only what we need to review, produce, mix, and master your music, run our business, and stay in touch with you.

Information you give us

• Contact details: name, email address, phone number, and billing address.

• Artist and project details: artist or band name, song titles, where your song is in the process, the kind of feedback you want, release plans, whether AI tools were used in your song, and any notes you send us.

• Your music and files: song links, audio files, stems, lyrics, artwork, and other materials you upload or send ("Client Materials").

• Discount verification: for church/ministry or student discounts, information that confirms eligibility, such as your organization's name or a student ID and proof of enrollment.

• Agreements: your signed Project Agreement, and for clients under 18, a parent or guardian's name and signature.

• Messages and feedback: emails, text messages, revision notes, survey answers, and testimonials.

Information collected automatically

• Device and usage data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, the site that referred you, links clicked, and the date and time of your visit. We collect this through cookies, pixels, and similar tools (see Section 7).

• Email and text engagement: whether you opened an email or clicked a link.

Information from others

• Payment processors tell us whether a payment went through. We do not receive or store your full card or bank account number.

• Bandmates, co-writers, or managers may share project details with us on your behalf.

We do not ask for Social Security numbers, government ID numbers, or other sensitive personal information. Please do not send them to us.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Review, mix, master, and produce your music, and deliver your files.

• Create your private upload link and project folder.

• Process payments, refunds, and discounts, and confirm discount eligibility.

• Send messages about your order or critique, such as confirmations, upload links, delivery notices, and reminders.

• Send emails and, with your consent, text messages about our services, offers, and music resources.

• Answer your questions and provide customer support.

• Enforce our Terms of Service, including our Christian Code of Conduct.

• Improve our website, services, and marketing.

• Prevent fraud, protect our business, and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your songs or audio files to train artificial intelligence (AI) models.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only in these situations:

• Service providers that help us run our business, under their own privacy and security terms. These include GoHighLevel/LeadConnector (website, forms, customer records, email and text messaging), Dropbox (file uploads and storage), Filepass (private mix review), Make.com (connecting our tools), Google (email and file storage), and our payment processors. They may use your information only to provide services to us.

• Studio Personnel: independent engineers, musicians, vocalists, and producers who work on your project. They receive only what they need for the work and must keep unreleased material confidential.

• With your permission: for example, when you approve a testimonial, or when we feature a released song as described in our Terms of Service.

• Legal reasons: when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect our rights, our clients, or others from fraud or harm.

• Business transfer: if our business is sold, merged, or reorganized, your information may transfer to the new owner, who must honor this Policy.

All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

4. Text Messages (SMS)

We send text messages only to people who give us permission by checking a consent box on our forms or checkout pages. Giving your phone number or agreeing to texts is never required to buy our services or request a critique.

• Types of messages: Non-marketing messages about your order or critique (such as upload links, delivery notices, and reminders), and, only if you agree separately, marketing messages such as special offers and discounts.

• Frequency: Message frequency varies.

• Cost: Message and data rates may apply.

• Opt out: Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts. You will receive one message confirming you have opted out.

• Help: Reply HELP for help, or contact us using the details in Section 14.

• Delivery: Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We will not share your opt-in to an SMS campaign with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing you with the services of that campaign. We may share your personal data, including your SMS opt-in or consent status, with third parties that help us provide our messaging services, including but not limited to platform providers, phone companies, and any other vendors who assist us in the delivery of text messages.

5. Emails

When you request a free critique, join our list, or buy a service, we may send you emails with tips, resources, offers, and news from Make Worship Songs.

Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. We honor unsubscribe requests within 10 business days. Even after you unsubscribe, we may still send emails about an active order or critique, such as confirmations, delivery notices, and payment receipts.

6. Your Music and Files

Your unreleased music stays private. You keep ownership of your songs, as explained in our Terms of Service.

• Uploads: Files you upload through your private upload link go into a private project folder that only Make Worship Songs and our Studio Personnel can access. Other clients cannot see your files.

• Mix review: Mixes are shared through private, streaming-only review links. Final files are delivered only after you approve.

• Free critiques: Songs submitted for a critique are used only to give you feedback. We never publish or share them.

• Who can hear your music: only Make Worship Songs and the Studio Personnel working on your project, unless you give permission or the law requires it.

• After release: We may feature short excerpts, the song title, artist name, and artwork from released songs in our portfolio and marketing, unless you opt out in writing before release.

• No AI training: We do not use your songs, lyrics, or audio files to train AI models, and we do not upload your unreleased music to AI services that use it to train their models.

7. Cookies, Analytics, Advertising, and Do Not Track

Our website uses cookies, pixels, and similar tools to keep forms and checkout working, understand how visitors use our site, and measure and improve our advertising.

• Analytics and advertising: We may use tools such as Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel. These companies may collect information about your activity on our site and on other websites over time, and may use it to show you ads.

• Embedded content: Some pages include music players, videos, or social media features from other companies (such as Disco, YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook). Those companies may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies.

• Your choices: You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work. You can limit ad personalization through Google Ad Settings, your Facebook ad preferences, and the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out page.

• Do Not Track: Some browsers send "Do Not Track" signals. Because there is no common standard for these signals, our website does not currently respond to them.

8. Payments

Payments are handled by secure third-party payment processors, including PayPal, Klarna, and our credit card processor. You give your card or bank details directly to them, not to us. We receive only what we need to confirm and record your purchase, such as your name, billing address, amount paid, payment method type, and the last four digits of your card.

If you use PayPal or Klarna, including a pay-later plan, that company's own terms and privacy policy also apply.

9. How Long We Keep Information

We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this Policy.

• Project files: kept for 365 days after final delivery or the end of a project, then they may be permanently deleted. Files for projects ended under our Code of Conduct are deleted right away.

• Critique submissions: your song link and our notes are kept with your contact record so we can follow up. We do not keep a copy of your audio file.

• Discount verification: student and ministry documents are deleted once eligibility is confirmed. We keep only a note that the discount was approved.

• Orders, payments, and signed agreements: kept as long as needed for tax, accounting, and legal purposes, generally up to 7 years.

• Contact and marketing information: kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, unless we need it for an open order or a legal reason.

10. How We Protect Information

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. We use trusted providers that encrypt data in transit, we limit access to the people who need it for your project, and we protect our accounts with strong passwords and two-step sign-in where available.

No website, email, or file-sharing service is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a data breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.

11. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have, we will delete it. If you believe a child under 13 has sent us information, please contact us.

Teens ages 13 to 17 may use our Services only with a parent or guardian's involvement. A parent or guardian must sign the Project Agreement for any paid project.

12. Your Choices and Rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.

• Correct information that is wrong or incomplete.

• Delete your information, unless we must keep it for an open order, a legal obligation, or to enforce our agreements.

• Stop marketing: unsubscribe from emails using the link in any email, and reply STOP to texts.

To make a request, contact us using the details in Section 14. We may need to confirm your identity first. You may also have someone you authorize make a request for you. We will respond within 45 days. If we deny your request, you may ask us to reconsider, and we will explain our decision.

We will not treat you differently or charge you more for using these rights.

U.S. state privacy rights. Some states, including California, give residents specific privacy rights. We honor the requests above for everyone, whether or not a state law requires it. We do not sell personal information or share it with others for their own direct marketing.

Visitors outside the United States. We are based in the United States, and your information is stored and processed here. If you live in Canada, the United Kingdom, the European Union, or elsewhere, your local law may give you additional rights. Contact us and we will work with you to honor them.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy as our services or the law change. We will post the new version on this page and update the "Last updated" date at the top. If we make a significant change to how we use your personal information, we will tell you by email or with a notice on our website before the change takes effect.
