Songwriting, production, and a specialized release strategy - helping serious Christian artists turn their calling into a catalog.
We believe that God has blessed each of us with gifts and talents that complement one another. This is especially true in the music creation process! All great records are God-inspired and come to fruition when the Holy Spirit works through a great team. We would love the opportunity to be a part of that team with you!

This is where your songs go out into the world. Music is a part of your ministry, and we want to help you with that.
Through a 1-on-1 video call and a deep dive into your back catalog, I’ll build a customized project roadmap that’s focused on your artistic and God-focused vision.
Together, we'll co-write brand new Christian-focused material that serves both your artistic intentions and Christ’s message. Whether that’s for your Christian artist project or an album focused on corporate worship songs, we’ll write fresh new songs that are intentional, passion-filled, and that help bring people closer to God.
Building a firm foundation! This is where I’ll build the rough demos of our written songs while getting your feedback early and often! From the arrangement, key choices, and tempo, I’ll make sure we get everything right before we move on to the official production phase.
This is where the magic happens, and where we’ll bring your songs to life! Capturing heartfelt vocal performances and the professional musicianship of passionate players, we’ll track quality recordings that are true to your artistic vision and God’s calling.
This is where it all comes together! I'll make sure your vocals sit front and center, your instruments breathe together, and every dynamic lands — so your songs don't just sound good, they move people. I’ll also make any revisions necessary to make sure you’re 100% satisfied before the songs are finalized in the mastering process.
A great release is only as strong as the promotion behind it. That's why you'll walk away with more than just the finished tracks. I'll deliver alternative mixes optimized for TikTok and Reels, short-form cuts for social media, and a release strategy that will help map out exactly how to launch your music.
You just can't get the sound you want when you do it yourself.
Your songs don't hold up next to the worship music on your playlists.
You have a folder full of voice memos and half-finished ideas going nowhere.
You're not sure if your lyrics are theologically solid or singable for a congregation.
You have melodies and ideas but struggle to turn them into complete songs.

Hey, I’m Steve Demetrious, and I’m the founder of Make Worship Songs. As a producer and songwriter with 20+ years of experience, I understand all of the obstacles artists and songwriters face when it comes to producing new music … because I’ve been there myself.
From learning all of the technical aspects of recording, to coordinating production schedules with professional musicians, to understanding how to arrange and craft meaningful songs—it’s a BIG learning curve that took me years to master.
The good news is that you don’t need to struggle through all of the technical hurdles, OR manage all of the detailed production aspects of your recording project, OR keep guessing whether your song is being crafted in a way that will achieve your desired impact.

The good news is that you don’t need to struggle through all of the technical hurdles, OR manage all of the detailed production aspects of your recording project, OR keep guessing whether your song is being crafted in a way that will achieve your desired impact.
When you choose to work with my team and I, you’re not just getting years of collective experience; you’re getting ➡️
The peace of mind knowing that we are going to have every aspect of the production process covered
Thoughtful consideration of every decision to make sure it aligns with your creative vision.
Comfort in knowing that we’re going to put our heart and soul into your project as if it were our own.
A Holy Spirit-led and Christ-centered mindset through every phase of the creative process.
The minimum timeline for writing and producing a single song is about 4 weeks. At Make Worship Songs, we don’t want to rush the creative process, but we also don’t want to drag it out either. We’ll follow the schedule outlined in your customized production plan, which will allow us to maximize both our creative time and the project management time to achieve the quality result you’re coming to us for.
This can vary based on the scope of the project and how many songs you would like to write and produce with us. But, in a nutshell, if you choose to move forward with a single song, you are looking at a minimum 4-week commitment, dedicating 2-4 hours a week following the customized roadmap for your project.
We will provide you with a songwriting meeting schedule for the first week. During the songwriting phase, we will meet virtually twice for a 2-hour songwriting session. After our songwriting phase is complete, we will move into the pre-production phase, where we will meet again to go over demos and make any necessary changes to the arrangement, the key of the song, tempo, and melody.
The production phase is where your time commitment will vary depending on your level of involvement. For example, if you’re only going to be singing on the songs, then we will create a recording schedule based around getting you the songs as fast and prepared as possible for you to record your best vocal takes. However, if you are an artist who also plays instruments (eg, guitar, keys, etc.), then your involvement in the production process will require more of your time to record your parts on your end.
In the mixing phase, the final week of the project, we will ask you to please devote sufficient time to reviewing the mixes and make any needed revision notes.
While I can’t directly do it for/with you, I can provide some guidance, good resources, and places to go when you’re ready to release your new music. This will be included in your project roadmap.
Yes, in order to qualify for our songwriting and production packages, you will either need to have your own home-recording setup or have access to a recording setup. If you need recording equipment, we will provide you with a recommended equipment and software list. We will also provide you with technical coaching to help you achieve the best possible results from your home recording setup.
We also have a referral program with a great vendor who will give our clients a 10% discount on any needed equipment purchases.
*Referral offer is only available to signed US-based clients due to international shipping restrictions.
That’s totally fine! We offer both mixing and mastering services for songs that you’ve produced elsewhere. The songs must meet our submission criteria, which you can find HERE.
If you’d like to request a quote for mixing and mastering services, click HERE to get started.
No worries, I can’t always nail it on the first try. Rest assured - if you don’t absolutely love it, I'll keep revising it totally for free until you do.
Our pricing is broken down into 3 parts. Part 1 is a risk-free deposit for us to build your customized project roadmap. If you don’t love it and we’re not a great fit, then we refund the deposit, and we go our separate ways. If you love the project plan, then we will sign a project agreement and ask for 50% of the remaining balance (part 2) to get the ball rolling. The third and final payment will be due at the very end of the project, before the delivery of the masters.
We also believe strongly in tithing and giving back a portion of what God blesses us with to bless others. This is why we allocate a portion of every project to Christian-focused organizations and causes that we believe in. We are also open to exploring Christian-focused organizations and causes that you believe in. So, if there’s a need that’s important to you, we will explore it and consider tithing a portion of our service fees from your project to that specific organization or cause.
Great question! At the end of the day, the recorded masters are 100% yours! You’re paying for them, and we believe artists should own their masters if they’re able to.
However, when it comes to the publishing ownership of any songs we co-write together, we follow the “Nashville” mindset: “we will equally split the songwriting and publishing ownership”.
We will document each songwriting session and then formally register the songs with a PRO (eg, ASCAP, BMI, SOCAN, etc.). If you aren't signed up with a PRO yet, then I highly recommend exploring the options in your area/country and getting yourself registered with one that you feel would best represent your work.
*Please note, this only applies to songs that we co-write with you. This will not apply to any songs you’ve previously written with other songwriters that you choose to produce with us.
Great question! There are so many quality DIY options available to music artists these days. Equipment is affordable, and getting access to great musicians is just a click of a button away through several reputable websites.
The problem that artists keep running into is that they lack the direction, experience, and technical knowledge to generate the song quality that they are chasing after.
This is where an experienced music producer and songwriter can really take your songs to the next level. I know how to bring out the best in your song by making production choices that highlight your sound. I have relationships with many incredible musicians who I know will put the quality and care into your material.
And most importantly, I am a Christian like you who wants to passionately work on music projects that serve God. I believe music has an incredible ability to bring people closer to God in worship, which is why I approach every project with that mindset.
You need to have three things: 1) the ambition and passion to create new music that serves God, 2) the ability to record yourself using quality equipment in a recording-friendly environment, and 3) an online presence showcasing you as an artist.
